Data centers are critical business hubs for banks, insurance companies, governments institutions and many other institutions. A totally reliable power supply is needed for their operations. UPS are typically used in parallel with diesel generators. On failure of the grid power the UPS takes on the load – while the generator is started, stabilized and switched to take over the critical loads. For the power system to be totally reliable the facilities engineer needs a totally reliable battery. This application requires the best available battery to deliver the load for a typical duration of 5 to 15 minutes. Thereafter the loads will have switched to the alternate DG power

Triumph - Tubular Gel VRLA Batteries for Solar Photovoltaic

Charge input from solar arrays some times is insufficient to keep the batteries fully charged. During sun-less days, batteries are discharged but not charged. These conditions result in battery operating in Partial State of Charge (PSOC), Cycling and Deep-cycling. Also, solar systems are installed in open atmosphere exposing the batteries to extreme temperatures. Other lead acid batteries fail in such conditions due to sulphation, stratification, corrosion and plate shedding. Moreover, remote solar installations make water top-up difficult and costs money.

To meet such rigors of usage HBL introduces a maintenance free (no water top-up) Tubular Gel VRLA battery with unbeatable combination of Tubular plate and gelled electrolyte, which is a perfect fit for all solar applications.

Tubular gel VRLA batteries are tested and certified as per IEC 61427-2005 and IEC 60896-21&22:2004

Triumph - Tubular Gel VRLA Battery 

Triumph - Tubular Gel VRLA battery offered by HBL is a thoroughly proven product, designed to meet the demanding needs of many diverse applications. These batteries are technologically advanced and are ideal for regular cycling and deep discharge requirements of Telecom BTS sites. These batteries offer excellent cycle life (much higher than Flat plate AGM VRLA batteries) and good performance under partial state of charge operation. Tubular Gel VRLA batteries are highly suitable for telecom BTS sites having unreliable grid power or sites without grid power.

These batteries are maintenance free and do not require a temperature controlled environment. This allows the network operator to save significantly on energy costs (OPEX) that will be incurred in cooling a network site. These batteries also offer a faster recharge capability to save on diesel generator running time after deep discharge cycles - further cutting down on fuel cost (OPEX) and thus lowering the payback period.

These batteries are tested and certified as per IEC 60896-21&22:2004 and IEC 61427-2005.

Sealed Maintenance Free Lead Acid Aircraft batteries 

HBL Power Systems Ltd. is a listed Indian company, in business since 1977, with a focus on engineered products and services. Our initial business strategy was to identify technology gaps in India that the company could fill by 'indigenous efforts'.

Nickel Cadmium aircraft batteries, developed for the Ministry of Defence, were among the first products of the company. Subsequently, Silver Zinc aircraft batteries and Sealed Lead Acid aircraft batteries [SILVER START] were added to extend the range and offer a wider choice for our customers.

Silver Start on-board aircraft batteries employ Pure Lead-Tin, Thin Plate technology for high-performance. These Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries are designed using Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) separators that render the batteries spill-proof for aerobatic use. The use of AGM separators in combination with self-resealing, pressureregulating valves and a starved electrolyte design enable recombination of gases generated during normal operation. This eliminates the need for electrolyte top-up.

Silver Start batteries are delivered fully charged and are ready for immediate use. These batteries are a replacement for the Russian 12CAM28 dry charged lead acid battery.

Silver Start (SS28300) is a 24V, 28Ah@5hr battery consisting of two 12V blocks connected together in series. This battery is used for on-board aircraft starting and for providing emergency backup .

The SS28300 battery is available with or without the battery box in various configurations depending on the requirements of the specific helicopter/aircraft:
